The Sukerchakia Darwaza is dedicated to the ancestors of owners of “Hotel Noormahal” Maharaja Ranjit Singh ji, (1780-1839). The great Sher-E-Punjab, who ruled the state of Punjab for 40 years. He was the leader of great “Sukerchakia Misl”.
